Jay heard a noise like a squeaky door. Something was squealing. Jay, whose legs buffed up, sprinted over to the end of the Stargrazer to look off deck.

Liya (lee-ya) shuddered backwards to get as faraway as she could from the squeak. After a couple of steps, she bumped into the grouchy, prickly captain AKA Dr. Jones.
