Part 4

I woke to the sound of birds cheeping softly next to me. Slowly, I sat up to see that the dragon was already awake. I opened a jar of jam for me and the dragon to eat. I got up and decided to go and find a way to get out of there.

We wandered for a while but then I heard footsteps coming towards us. I closed my eyes in terror. “Hello are you lost,” announced the friendly voice. I opened my eyes to see an old woman. “I live in these woods and have never seen a soul here.”                                                 “Yes we are lost,” I exclaimed.                                                                                                              “Where do you live?” Said the old woman.                                                                                            “Well I live in London and the dragon lives here.”                                                                                    “I will look after the dragon from now and then I will take you home as this wood is no place for a little girl, come on  let’s go,” said the old woman thoughtfully.                                      “ Ok thank you,” I confirmed.

We followed the old woman into a clearing where a hot air balloon was waiting. “Get in,” said the woman. We were up in the air for ages until finally we reached London.
