Epidemic airship
Epidemic BattleShip
You’ve probably been on a battleship when the horizon is pink and amber and the breeze just enough to give the engines a boost . Remember how it feels to have the wind blowing through your hair, to see the daisies on the ground and the modern dull towns.
I bet you’ve enjoyed holiday flights across the great caribbean sea’s and adventures to the top of the ancient mountains , knowing that once you have landed on the deck you will be able to relax for several days (..maybe until your vacation is over…)
But you should also try a vacation when the winter winds are as sharp as chipped glass, with the clouds darkening like the pitch black sky , for that is another matter. When the thunder explodes like the cannon fire around you and a lightning strike would bring the airship down, when the downhaul tension and the ship’s engines delay, that’s when you lose hope and feel empty inside.
As we landed I could see the , alluring view of the poppy fields ; the dark yet terrific clouds ; and the amber sunset.
I really like your vocabulary adjectives of how you described the atmosphere; it made me want to read more. I think this is a really good paragraph but maybe you should extend it because it was quite short but really, well done!
I really love the phrase :
as we landed I could see the , alluring view of the poppy fields ; the dark yet terrific clouds ; and the amber sunset.
well done on a terrific job Mariam
Thank you !
