Alice knew what she had to do. Her plan was to retrieve the repair kit from the captains pocket but she knew it wasn’t an easy job. Alfie was safe and too scared to come out of the bedroom. With the wind in a slow breeze Alice thought it would be a good idea to do it then rather than later. She needed to be as quick as possible because if it got to late the ship would have went down.

Alice reached into the captain’s pocket for the repair kit but as she pulled it out it slipped out of her hand and dropped to the ground below. With nothing to help the ship they just had to hope that it would be a soft landing.

As they got closer to the ground Alice could make out the shape of a dragon sleeping directly below them. The ship was not far off from the dragon and with every second they got a bit closer.

When the sky ship was a few metres away the force of the ship had woken up the dragon. The whole ship bounced off of the************ causing it to be even more angry.
