THE TWIN FLYER

Episode 1

Jake cowered in the corner, wrapped up in blankets as Jess gripped the railings, almost flinging herself off the ship. Captain O’Horton told her to be careful but Jess didn’t need to be told, she’s always careful. Jess explained to Jake that it’s ok to be scared, even she was but she had to take care of her twin brother. Running back to the railings, Jess discovered that there were many strange, winged creatures patrolling the skies and almost immediately recognised that they were snow dragons. “Oh no! Jake get yourself hidden IMMEDIATELY!”

“Immediately?”

“Yes it means NOW!” Jess replied.

They both hid under a pile of blankets, spare jackets and coats after Jess insisted that Jake stayed hidden whilst she alerted captain O’Horton. Captain O’Horton replied that they had to land somewhere. Jess asked where but got a reply of: We don’t know, look after your brother and STAY SAFE!

EPISODE 2

Their landing spot was unfamiliar. It was a green jungle ,a stone town with buildings and leaf hammocks. In the doorway, it was mainly unseen due to the large amount of vines covering what was inside. There were  large piles of softwood planks arranged over the end of a river that lead to somewhere even more unknown. Birds could be heard tweeting and squawking from inside the tall, green trees. Captain O’Horton explained to the twins that him and the crew had to go and explore the surroundings and try to find fuel and food, also water. Suddenly, a smile broke across Jess’ face, this was the first time she had smiled since they landed. Jake however, was crying his eyes out at the thought of being left alone until he realised that Jess wasn’t classed as crew so he was ok. They got cozy under the blankets, Croats and jackets whilst Jess made up a story and told it to him. After about 15 minutes, they were both sleeping like babies, quiet, calm and cozy. Everything was going to turn out right because they were a team. Or so they thought.

EPISODE 3

Jess had awoken after a few hours of perfect sleep. The crew weren’t beck yet and Jess was beginning to worry. She had the feeling that herself and her brother were not alone. Something was watching them and it wasn’t human. It was a little black ball covered in thick, brown hair and large brown eyes peered out of the fur, widening slowly. She quickly ran to the railings and picked the thing up and used the empty blankets and stuff that she was wrapped up in a few moments ago to keep it warm . Jess then got in the blankets with the creature and finally decided on a name for it : Cocoa. Cocoa is a great name! Jess thought suddenly.

EPISODE 4

A few hours later, the crew (lead by captain O’Horton) returned with food, drinks and precious metals to sell for when they return home. The twins awoke together and then woke up Cocoa, who Jake didn’t know yet,. Jess  introduced Jake to Cocoa and Cocoa to Jake. Ominously, Jess went to the railings of the ship and looked at the surroundings. Jess thought about home and was glad to be out in the open , fresh air at the same time. Jake was also thinking about home, he missed it a lot and didn’t really like it up in the air. The only good thing about this adventure is that they had each other. That feeling was there again and this time it was both of the twins who had it now. Someone was here. Jess and Jake both ran to the railings and held on tight to each other. Captain O’Horton suddenly appeared at the din of their screaming. He explained that it was the med-kit attached to the side of the ship and that they should get more rest
