~Flying Cogs~

~Prologue~

You’ve probably been an airship when the skies are cloudless,the sunlight beams just reached its limit and when the full moon just appeared. Imagine how the sun rays would touch your face as you’d be licking your ice-cream. I bet you would’ve enjoyed the calm,serene view up there and your relatives will be watching you up there with a gleaming smile. But you should also dare to try and face the stormy night and those squally winds. Would you go there? Some people say that they saw sky pixies while they were having a short trip. You probably won’t believe this but others say that they saw beasts from fire-breathing Dragons to a bigger version of Godzilla and it can fly!

~Chapter 1 – The SkyShip Adventure~

Trembling,Stephany clutched to the railings so she could have a closer look to the airship her grandfather built before she was even born. It was a colossal sky craft with a robust looking balloon – her grandfather used it to survive WW2(World War 2) – which and it was so dusty that Stephany herself began to sneeze for at least 45 seconds. But then she had the idea to call her neighbour for a trip but with the airship. Just before Hektor (her neighbour’s name) came, Stephany wanted to have a picnic so she prepared the food and needs. Afterwards,when Hektor came,Stephany told him her plan. The skyship was ready to be launched.The kids started their chattering. Hektor was panicking whilst Stephany was meditating deeply but calmly. But where are they going?

~Chapter 2 – The Landing of Relief~

The little airship had to face squally winds and storms. Luckily,Mr. Jonson (an old man who is a very skilled airship pilot)was here to control the ship. 

“Oh no! Here comes the stormy clouds!”shivered Hektor in shock.

“We will make it! I can feel it!”exclaimed Capitan Tom(another name for Mr. Jonson). Capitan Tom made a twist and a turn straight targeting for the storm cloud. I know capitan’s going to make it. Thought Stephany to herself. The airship – also known as Adventure – just went inside the storm cloud and started making random patterns across the gloomy sky. This kept on going for 3 hours until a beam of light appeared. Hektor was snoring in his sleep since he got too bored. 

“Hektor! Wake up you sleepyhead! We finally arrived!” exclaimed Stephany as she was doing her victory dance.

“Eh… What did you just say? We are finally free!” exclaimed Hektor with joy. Adventure had just landed like a little feather. But there were some scratches left in the little skyship. Captain Tom noticed it and sighed. But he just ignored it and would remind himself later.

 “Lower those sails!” ordered Capitan Tom.

“Ay ay, capitan!” shouted both Stephany and Hektor. The sails had been lowered. Suddenly,an ominous fog appeared out of nowhere when they took their picnic and touched the ground. Two emeralds and rubies shone behind the fog. A low growl wailed in the fog. Then the mystic fog disappeared with the stone eyes leaving behind.

~Chapter 3 – New Companies Around~

“Huh? What was that ominous sound? Did you hear that, Hektor?” complained Stephany in confusion.

“Hear what?”replied Hektor.

“That growling sound,”Stephany replied back, feeling anxious. Captain Tom had been busy finding a perfect place to eat the food.

“Oi oi! What have you both been discussing ‘bout,eh?” asked Captain Tom.

“Captain! I heard a growling and stomps of a ‘creature’!”exclaimed Stephany. 

“Hmmm… . Oh uh. We have visitors here…” sighed Captain Tom. The fog came again. All went blurry and everyone felt numb as if there was nothing.

“Please don’t be afraid of us! We are innocent dragons! It’s nice to see some companies,” exclaimed the beast.

“What?”replied Mr. Jonson, Hektor and Stephany. There was a long silence. The fog started to fade away. Two dragons were starting to appear in front of them. One looked like an emerald jewel whilst the other looked like a ruby jewel. 

“Wow! The fog is finally gone!”gasped Hektor as he broke the silence.

“And look at these two incredible dragons!” exclaimed Stephany, “and they can talk!”. Hektor, who raised his eyebrow, was shocked to see the ferocious looking dragons. The emerald dragon wailed.

“Oh no! This poor Ruby Dragon got hurt. It must have been because of the stormy cloud!” exclaimed Hektor. Stephany, whose eyes glimmered like a diamond, winked at Hektor.

“Don’t worry! We can help it!” exclaimed Stephany calmly.

~Chapter 4 – The Great Ending~

All day,the scorching hot day made an exhausting day for Stephany, Hektor and Mr. Jonson as if there was a huge drought going on for years! Alone, Captain Tom was wondering how to finally fix the airship. In the meanwhile, Stephany was finding out a way to help the hurt dragon while lazy Hektor was just eating some fruits.

“Hektor! At least help someone! Don’t just sit there wasting time!” shouted out Stephany.

“Alright,alright I’ll help you,”Hektor rolled his eyeballs. Can he at least do something useful without being asked? Thought Stephany in a sigh. As hours slouched by, Stephany and Hektor finally found out a way to heal the Ruby Dragon.

“We could use this mixture of oak saplings and mustard!” Stephany exclaimed.

“Maybe,” shrugged Hektor “you can try it,”. As she tried it, the dragon eventually got healed! 

“Mr. Jonson,the Ruby Dragon got healed! Come and see!” exclaimed Stephany and Hektor.

“Just a second,almost done fixing this stuffed ol’ ship,” replied the captain, “and… I’m done!”. As he honed in closer to them,he’s eyes widened, shocked. 

“Marvellous! Now we can go back home!”exclaimed the captain.

“Goodbye Emerald Dragon!” exclaimed Hektor.

“Stay safe Ruby and Emerald Dragons!”exclaimed Stephany, too.

“We’ll see you guys later!”called out Captain Tom, “but it’s time for us to go!”.

As Adventure faded away from the tremendous island,Stephany looked as if her face turned into a tomato.

“Hecktor! How dare you to forget about our picnic! I told you to remind me when we were talking!”yelled Stephany,fuming. 

“I’m so,so,so sorry I forgot! Please forgive me, you know I have a bad memory! We can at least have our picnic in the Adventure!”exclaimed Hektor,feeling sorry.

“True! We can!” replied Stephany,feeling convinced.
