But then, she realized there was a cow in the fire, but, that wasn’t a cow. That was a calf. Then it clicked, this was her calf. Skylar new what to do, she ran into the fire, searching rapidly for a sign of life but there was none to be found. “Moo!” The sound was getting louder and louder as she traversed east. Ah! There she was she picked up the young calf, she could only of been a few weeks old, Skylar thought as she ran forward and out of the the fire where she met the mother cows Autumn mapled fur. The calf did look so much like her mother. Skylar let the calf down to her mother who rubbed her affectionately. Skylar shivered something wet had grazed her cheek. Soon she heard the pittter patter of raindrops. “Hiss”. The fire extinguished in a cloud of smoke Skylar left the Cattle, walking away. Yet, she was not alone. The Mother cow (her daughter trot obediently behind her). “Moooooooo.” Persisted the Cow. “Shoo, go! You can go now.” Skylar explained. Skylar walked away still yet the cow carried on again. “Ugh fine.” Skylar sighed holding hand out to pet the cow. The cow hesitated but aloud her. So from then on Skylar spent the next year in that meadow, finding an abandoned farm and baking bread in a year of peace, one without conflict. That was until, they came…
