The cry for help

Suddenly, a cry for help from the side of the ship. George, whose eyes lit up with fear and shock, swiftly moved behind a crate of apples but his brother Jerry, who was anxious to know what the thud was, took a quick peek over the edge of the ship. He caught a glimpse of it; he could see blood bleeding out; he then flinched as it came closer. It was something small yet powerful. It came out of the shadows and it made a cry for help. “It’s a baby dragon!” George shouted loud and clear,”It’s bleeding out!” Jerry, who was not troubled by this tragedy, went to get a towel and came back in a hurry. He then put the unused towel on the scratch to make it stop bleeding out, “It must have been injured in the massacre.”

The dragonlet was cold like a frosty snowman. George swiftly ran off to get a blanket, wondering with fear if the dragonlet was hurt by the storm or is there someone out there searching for the baby dragon wanting it for their own. Jerry knew deep in his heart that this innocent baby dragon would become a lifelong friend.
