The captain had arrived and was fixing the azure , then at that moment scraping came from his cabin.

At nightfall the captain had come back and the ship was now grazing clouds on the starry sky. Chester and mark woke abruptly as the azure dodged an incoming cloud. 

“ captain!” They shouted in unison , they were glad he was back and that they were heading onwards.

“ Hello boys!” The captain shouted with delight. Chester and Mark climber up on the balloon and gazed in the endless sky. 

“ This is truly amazing,” Mark exclaimed.

“ agreed!” Chester shouted. Millions of glistening stars darted by as the sky faded into a mix of pink and red. Clouds passed and were cut by the ships hull. 

At that moment Chester heard a rasping noise coming from the azure’s side.

“W-W-what is that?” Chester was shaking in fear

“I have no idea!” Mark exclaimed in fright. 

Fiery red eyes stared at them. Something was climbing up the ship’s side, what was it?

“ Spike?, Spike, where are you!” Chester shouted , worried , Spike was nowhere to be found. They had no idea what it was.

“ what if it’s a cloud monster! Then we’d be eaten whole!” Mark shouted , panic in his voice. The feature slowly climbed up the ship and onto the balloon. It’s body covered in razor sharp spikes. It was Spike! 

“Phew! That was close!” They both exclaimed in unison. Down below they spotted an island , that’s our destination , but what was on it they did not know.
