All night, the wind howled overhead as Captain Kyle, Oliwier and Monty the cat found a safe place to rest after an amazing adventure. They all fell asleep at last and the night flew past before they could even blink. ” Wake up !”  bellowed Captain Kyle. Oliwier and Monty got up as the sun shone like a cheetah’s fur. It was a peaceful morning until the captain had something to announce. ” I know that you will not enjoy the news but I have to tell you, we can’t repair the ship so it means we have to live here in the ruins.” Oliwier stared open mouthed.

” We can’t, where are we going to find food or get water?” he protested.

” There’s a forest nearby so we could hunt some animals and collect water from the river.”

Alone, Oliwier returned back to the ruins and wondered how his life was going to look. Rain lashed down from the sky.  He shivered. Will they be safe? At that moment, someone or something was making an ear-splitting noise coming from the sky. What could it be ? He bolted out of the ruins and looked up. Captain Kyle and Monty joined him. ” Hold on to that rope,” called an unknown voice. ” We’re here to save you.” Hesitantly, they clung onto the rope. Hand over hand , they started climbing up to the thing that looked like an helicopter. ” We’re free!” they all chanted. They were finally coming back home, together.
