I want to paint poem
I want to paint…
the feeling of the cold sea swirling and splashing around my ankles at the beach, on a hot summers day;
the sight of my puppy rolling in the long grass and barking in the warm sun,
the taste of melting chocolate as it dissolves on my tongue , making my mouth water.
I want to paint…
the memory of playing cards with my granddad on a rainy day, as my grandma makes a pot of tea,
the sight of an eagle soaring through the snow-covered valley as the sun beats down;
the drone of the plane flying through the fluffy clouds leaving a trail of its breath behind it;
I want to paint…
the smell of flowers crowding green fields as they sway in the wind – spreading happiness everywhere as little children sit laughing among the swathes of emerald,
kids screaming happily as they wiz down the zip wire on a happy day;
the grass dancing in the wind- as the sky shines sapphire blue- pleasing everyone around,
a little child sitting in the sun-lit woods reading her favourite book as birds sing and the trees whisper,
I want to paint…
the end of this poem…
