The Thrilling Poem by James A

In the room of hamsters,

chewed carpet lined the floor.

In the room of cars,

I automatically received a driving license.

In the room of sadness,

All happy things faded away.

In the room of fire,

smoke leaked through cracks in the door.

In the room of planets,

The only thing I could see was Jupiter.

In the room of water,

flood warnings were common.

In the room of vocabulary,

Words raced past my eyes.

In the room of snow,

Snowmen came alive.

In the room of ghosts,

I became invisible.

In the room of volcanos,

Lava leaked out of rock structures, burning through the door.

In the room of Music,

A deafening electric guitar played.

In the room of right,

I got questions correct.

In the room of wrong,

I couldn’t do anything right.

In the room of oceans,

I could see all 5 oceans and 7 seas through a telescope.

In the room of planes,

I was rushed into a plane with a suitcase.
