I Want To Paint
I want to paint
a sky blue iris gliding calmly like a professional dancer, lost in the music, without a care in the world,
a chocolate Labrador sitting with its kind owner on a grass green bench outside Costa Coffee,
an abandoned swing left to rot next to a pond with crunchy, bronze leaves daringly jumping into the green gunky water and a blue ocean furiously throwing itself onto a rocky mountain stood in the middle of nowhere.
I want to paint
my little sister engulfing her favourite dolls with plaited hair, protecting them with her life like a nurse,
a vanilla ice cream smothered in chocolate and toffee sauce, with crumbled cookies and a wafer sat on top and a beautiful piece of blossom hanging off a tree branch like a trapeze in a circus act outside Mr Magical’s house.
You have worked really hard to find the exact words that you wanted and I can picture what you are saying in my mind.
