I Want to Paint
I want to paint…
A beautiful butterfly flapping its iridescent wings.
An eagle soaring through the sky searching for its next victim.
A lone tree in a field standing as still as a statue in the shining sunset.
An empty black night sky with the wild wind blowing.
A delightful daisy swaying like a delicate dancer.
A terrifying tiger hiding in the grass watching its prey.
I want to paint…
A haughty swan graciously drifting across the murky pond.
A silent shadow as dark as the inky black sky.
A snake slithering through the rainforest searching for its prey.
An elephant as big as a bus but as silent as a mouse.
A serene sea washing the sparkling shells around the beautiful beach.
A rampaging rhino charging like a warrior into battle.
The smell of summer, fresh and beautiful like newly cut grass.
I want to paint the end of this poem.
