The House of Dogs

I charged into the house of dogs.

Chairs sniffed at my legs.

I heard tiny tapping footsteps.

The table squeezed through the back door.

As it saw a squirrel, it howled at the backdoor, angrily.

In a flash, the lamp bolted into the kitchen at the speed of light,

As it heard packets crumpling

and wanted one.

In the blink of an eye, the toaster jumped up as it saw a fly.
