but I have leapt sky-high on a springy trampoline

but I have watched graceful wild sparrow hawks diving to their prey

I’ve never picked and eaten a fresh coconut from a gently swaying palm tree

but I have bit into the juicy flesh of a red, ripe strawberry

I’ve never stroked a rough-furred, gentle sloth

but I have snuggled into my dog Hudson

I’ve never experienced a petrifying megalodon

but I have fed my pet goldfish

I’ve never met my favourite author

but I have seen my friends at a party

I’ve never smelt rich caviar in Russia

but I have smelt my mum’s famous apple pie

I’ve never enjoyed the ability to breathe underwater

but I have watched a pair of graceful whales arcing and curving through the glittering seas.
