Go and open the door
Go and open the periwinkle door.
You might see the sky screaming to retire from its duties,
Chlorine and water finding a way to be separated,
Or your you’re favourite jeans appearing in sapphire water.
Go and open the violet door.
Maybe you will see lilac’s blooms,
Grapes gasping for breath as they are squeezed into juice,
Or violets growing.
Go and open the cherry-red door.
Maybe you will see the remains of a lost, dark memory,
Cherries falling on a scarlet floor,
Or blood spluttering silently.
