Ghosts

What are cold?

The icicles that form suddenly on your window on a cold day and hurtful words that stay in your head  just reminding you that it’s there every once in a while.

What are hot?

The beaming sun when it decides to reveal itself from the dark gloomy clouds and the scorching fire that is the angry neighbour knocking at your door.

 What are  loud?

The king of the jungles’ powerful roar that sticks in your head for weeks and a horse’s hooves cantering across the damp field .

What are quiet?

The squeaks  of a tiny mouse looking for the cheese to save its tiny family from hunger  and the cold piercing heartless ghosts watching and judging your every move while you have no idea they are there.

What are fast?

A gleaming red Ferrari racing with time through the dead road and kids when they are running in a running competition waiting for that whistle which would decide when they run.

What are slow?

A small snail carrying its heavy home on its back and going through the street with its life on the line and a bee working for its queen sorting and making honey while buzzing along happily.

  1. This piece of writing is very good well done! I like your vocabulary. Instead of doing like What ‘are’ cold for example maybe do is instead of are
