What is?
What is cold? A dog’s wet nose on a
summer day, an ice cream melting fast,
the blood of a crocodile and the air in a shivering winter.
What is hot?
A mammal’s blood. A warm radiator, your
blankets keeping you warm in bed, a fresh, steamy pizza out of the oven, with stuffed crust and cheese oozing on to the plate.
What is a wet? A 3 year old’s bed
after they have a nightmare, The ground
after heavy rain and a snail’s slimy trail.
What is dry? A brick wall, Left-out
glue, the air in a hot desert. The bark of
an old tree and a spilled spot of paint.
