What is…Poem

What is loud? The turbulence of a plane, the “neigh” of a horse and the voice of Gordon Ramsay shouting “where’s the lamb sauce?!”

What is quiet? An electric car engine, a baby’s first words and a deaf people when their ears hurt.

What is tired? My mouth chewing a massive piece of gum and my leg when it starts feeling numb.

What is boisterous? My brother watching TV, my skin when I start to feel cold and my grandpa when he notices he’s going bald.

What is crowded? DisneyLand, fireworks blazing and the leaning tower of Pisa that is undoubtedly amazing.

What is  lonely? A singular water droplet falling from the sky, a boy on a bus all alone, a bird floating in the sky on it’s own.

What is Happy? A predator that’s just caught it’s prey, me when I find my phone and my mum when I stop to moan.

What is sad? A loss of a family member, when school day just carry on goin’ and when we finally reach the end of this poem.
