What are shinny? A newly washed car, a mirror starring back at me and water running from a tap.

What are heavy? Loneliness, sadness and guilt following every step you dare to take.

What are loud? A combine working on a summers day, a wood chipper chipping

and me as I sing to my favorite song.

What are fragile? Feelings being broken, a heart beating to its beat and your life as it begins and ends.

What are cold? A snowman’s heart as it stands alone, a swept wind on a winters

day and an ice lolly sticking to your tongue every lick you take.

What are empty? A haunted house from 1999, a person with no feelings and a house with no one inside .

What are full? A house that has lived for years, people with feelings and me when I’m with my nan.

What are hot, the sun beaming on a summers day, the heating on a winters day and an oven cooking my favorite pizza as it turns 5 o’clock.
