A Whale’s Call by Isabelle
What are loud? A school fire alarm, a whale’s call and a hungry baby’s cry.
What are quiet? A blossom falling from a tree, a puny hedgehog hiding in a bush and the beautiful clouds drifting in the clear blue sky.
What are cold? An ice cube melting in my drink,a snowflake gliding and a pot of butter that just came out the fridge.
What are hot? A fresh cup of tomato soup, a warm fire and touching metal bridge on a hot day.
What are sad? A broken relationship, a lonely teardrop running slowly down my face and the weight of the world on my shoulders.
What is happy? A field of tall standing sunflowers, the colours of the rainbow and a cheering crowd at the Wimbledon Final.
