The Auburn duchess’ poem

If I were summoned

To make a treasure

I would take:

The little joys we treasure

Like a cup of coffee

on a cold winter’s morning,

Or the smell of Bacon sizzling

on the pan as you kick back.

Exotic flavours and unique colors

That are different and special,

Each one tasting as amazing as the last,

They smelt like heaven and tasted

Like the sun.

Perhaps The fruity delight

 of a rainbow,

A peacock’s mystical feather,

Or the smallest fiber of unicorn hair,

Maybe the crimson red tears

of the auburn duchess,

Water from the tear masters’ river

That flows with sorrow and joy.
