Chapter 1 the emporium

It was a sunny day and Emma was going on a walk she walked passed the emporium but noticed the door was open. The walls was made from midnight black bricks and the door had tiny bits of gold on it.

Emma hesitantly walked in and noticed there was nobody in there.

She looked around and saw beautiful globes with intricate designs on the handle. There was beautiful oak shelves on the walls with ancient dusty books on them and a golden cage on a desk will a beautiful snow owl with ruby eyes sat there. Emma slowly took her eyes of it and looked at other things then noticed there was a very small clock made with gold and other inches Emma gasped when she saw this. On the way there she also noticed a very old camera from the 1900. She took an interest on the camera instead but carried on going to the clock. She looked closer and noticed that it was a stop watch a very expensive one from the looks of it.

She decided to look in the other directions and there was very fine and old stuff there lying in the shelf. But she instead headed to near a curtain and saw even more goods there. Everything was very expensive in the shop and then she saw more books and kept on looking through. She stood frozen in time she saw a teddy that was in a picture from her parents they had for years. She looked next to it and was intrigued with a map that was yellow. She went back to look at the desk see if anything was there. The closer she got the more suspense built up to see if any thing was there.

There was it was a very big leather book with a golden yellow lock on it. Out of curiosity Emma picked the book up she suddenly dropped down from the weight of the book. A voice from the distant said “ you shouldn’t mess with stuff that’s not yours.” She jumped and looked up to see a man leaning there staring at her with sapphire eyes.
