The mysterious shop in the middle of nowhere

Prologue

There are many different places in the world where people don’t go. This was one of them.

Even though at Easter times, chocolate filled your nose. The taste of sweets that you wished you could eat. A huge back garden to have an amazing egg hunt. With bunnies around the house, and the temptation for danger money. Nobody ever went in.

Chapter 1- Through the door

Her family had always warned her to never go near that shop. But Lily was a person of braveness and curiosity. One sunny morning Lily was strolling down Howard Avenue when she noticed something extremely strange, the door for the shop was slightly ajar. Without hesitation Lily entered through the pitch black door. 

Everywhere she looked was full of wonder and mystery. Huge paintings and historical objects hung along the walls as different jars were carefully placed on tables. A chandelier made fully of diamonds, that was attached to the ceiling, gave light to the weird shop. Small goldfish swam swiftly through the calm blue water. A display of toy boats the Lily believed were from WW1 were scattered around the whole entire shop. Suddenly, Lily turned round and peeked around a corner to see the book of spells laid on the side. With a red background and gold writing for the title Lily was tempted to pick it up. About to snatch the book, something happened.

“ I see you have found my book of spells” whispered a voice from behind. Lily petrified as a gust of wind past her face. Cautiously, Lily turned around to see the owner. An old man with grey hair, wrinkles all over his face and slim glasses covering his eyes. Perched on his left shoulder a golden eagle shakes his head disapprovingly.
