The Whispers of Spirits by Sam@Belmont
The Whispers of Spirits
What are loud? Bees buzzing around a nest full of honey,
Paper rustling in the chilly wind and Big Bens gigantic bell ringing.
What are quiet? The whispers of children’s spirits,
Leaves gliding gracefully in the breeze and the school doors closing slowly behind you.
What are hot? A shiny metal slide in the summertime,
My tongue after having sour sweets and a campfire on a freezing night camping.
What are cold? snowflakes swaying in the air,
Water fresh from the fridge and ice cubes from the freezer
What are slow? a snail crawling along the pavement,
A worm growing underground and leaves falling of old trees in autumn.
What are fast? A cheetah chasing pray at high speeds,
Planes dogfighting in the cyan sky and Usain bolt sprinting a marathon
What are soft? A baby’s delicate skin after being born,
Fluffy clouds in the sky and woolly jumpers made of sheep wool.
What are rough? An elephants grey skin
A trees bark that has been chipped off and the crumbling concrete floor beneath.
