What is..by Zakirah
What is…? By Zakirah
What is large? A colossal blue whale swimming gracefully in the Pacific ocean, the sphere,
4.8kg Jupiter twirling arounding and an ancient general sherman tree decaying away.
What is small? The small Vatican City crowding with people as we speak, a chihuahua running
hiding under a chair waiting for it’s owner and when your friend leaves you deliberately.
What is colourful? The Hindu children playing holi happily, the skittles in my hand as I pick out
The ones I like and a small, thrilled child’s mind.
What is dull? A boring, old conference room, a documentary about how to make a circuit that you
have watched gazillion, a slither of a tasteless, watery celery.
What is loud? A scream of a sad, angry toddler, a gargantuan, booming jet engine and 1 million
Humongous, deafening fireworks.
What is silent? A sweet, soundless baby sleeping, a bookworm interested and intrigued in it’s
book and the embarrassment of a grown, responsible adult spilling drink on themselves in public.
What is crowded? The hundreds of people crammed in the exciting, popular Oxford street, the
rowdy, thunderous protest about climate change, the unnecessary thought in your mind.
What is lonely? A heart that has never been filled with all of someone’s love, A sock that has
never found the other pair and a widow whose children have died.
