Prologue Chapter 1 Cameron SWW
Prologue
The Everywhere Emporium
Magic is a mysterious thing which average civilians tend not to believe in, at least not all of them. If you are ready to face the truth, this is your opportunity.
Come and enter the shop of Wonders and experience an unique adventure. There are secrets and passages around every corner and surprises in the air. Ancient artifacts, distinctive history and magical features. The people who believe, shall receive moments that feel like witchcraft and wizardry is in the same room as them, that is.
Everyone thought of The Everywhere Emporium as an ordinary junk shop. That was, until a mysterious boy called Aiden moved into sight.
Chapter 1 Owner
Aiden had always been the odd one out. With his mother being a pilot, he had always feared that she would one day go down with the plane; which inevitably happened. The death of his mother greatly shocked his father which caused him to become depressed. A few months later, his father also passed away which made Aiden’s new home be an orphanage.
Three years after his father’s death, it was his fourteenth birthday and he made himself a secret cake. Everyone knew if you didn’t do everything in secret, Thomas Bulk would come and steal or break it with his friends. Everyone knew his story and how it was so gruesome. Every kid that was bullied by him at the orphanage, came to the conclusion that it was the reason of why he was so mean.
After eating the cake, he took a quarter of his money and started to stroll through the street lanes eyeing up all of the new shops. He thought they were all quite ordinary until one stood out to him. The Everywhere Emporium. The golden shimmer of the shop caught his eye and Aiden turned around. He grasped his five pound note, took a step forward and entered the shop.
The sound of the bell ringing, echoed throughout the shop as the smell fresh grapes and cherries slithered up his nose. Unique objects filled the room: winded sparrow wings, boxes of sardines, a rotting desk and resting in the middle, a faded book spelling out the words; T, G, O, Z. A short figure emerged from the shadows.
“I see you are interested.” mumbled a voice.
