Astrid was amazed by this magnificent book and it’s wonders. “ Just remember,” said Mr Ricki, very seriously, “ Whatever you do, don’t write in my book or even touch it without my permission or else there were be deadly consequences…” he span around and disappeared. Now Astrid was very concerned about the book of miracles as it was just going to be sitting there, doing nothing. She knew she had not been allowed to do anything to it but she was really desperate to see what would happen if she wrote in this book that did wonders. She was as desperate as a child with a bunch of sugary candy about to eat it all.  BUT SHE DID IT! Feeling quite ashamed she wrote a letter to Mr Ricki and left it on the dusty counter: Dear Mr Rickery, I was so desperate to write in the book so I did, I wanted to see were it would take me as you said it could give people wonderful journeys P.S SORRY!!!!!!!!!
