The magical marvel book

Chapter 2- A warning

 

“My name is Oliver Gold,” he said, staring into Pete’s eyes until he shifted out of his way. “ I made it myself. Do you like it?”

“Y..ye..yes” he replied, twisting his head around to see what things there were.

 “ Here is my book of marvels but DO NOT touch it. You are free to roam around but please don’t touch anything, they are valuable” he said with fire in his eyes.

 

In quick succession, Oliver Gold disappeared into the darkness in a second. Then Pete was all alone wet, gloomy, darkness like a cave. He wanted to look inside the book but he remembered what Oliver said, ”DO NOT touch the book.” He was so tempted to look inside so he did. There were lots of fantastic, magical pictures. When he turned to the next page there was a whirlwind and it ucked him in! Pete screamed, “HELP, Oliver I am getting sucked into a whirlwind from the book.”

 

 The next thing that Pete knew was that he had a pen in his hand and for some particular reason there were over 1,000 other children there! He had to get out somehow. But how? In the distance Pete saw a little old cottage and a forest which was about 10 miles away.

 

“This way,” came a voice from one of the children. Pete didn’t know which one it was because there was over 1,000 children. “The person who said that put your hand up?” said Pete scanning and twisting his head for a hand raised. Back at the shop, Oliver was closing the shop…
