Despite, it had toys that beckoned to come in. Despite, it had flying carpets. Despite, it had treasure chest that showed you jewels.

No one dared to come in. That is until Jack.

Chapter 1

Jack was always inquisitive when he saw the Emporium but his mother had told him many times, never to go into the Emporium. One day he comprehended that the door to the intriguing place was open. Curiosity took control of him. He went inside.

There was something in every room that he wanted. Old china dolls sat on the shelves. Hanging from the ceiling a clock ticked making echos  in the emporium. The smell of dust came came from nowhere entering Jack’s nose. A blade dug into the ground ripping a bit of the red carpet. By the till a shipwreck in a bottle advanced around the till. On a frame a dragon face was stuck, with scales of a variety of colours. A lectern made from plain wood, marked the center of the emporium. Jack ran towards it. A black leathery book lied there named the book of secrets. Curiosity took control of him again and he opened the book. But behind the velvet curtain a silhouette stood there.

“I see you found the book of secrets,” hissed a voice. Jack was startled.  he closed the book and looked at the owner. He was an old man with eyes that shone like emeralds.
