Through the door Chapter 2
It was Christmas and Savannah could not go to sleep and kept thinking about the door, she had an idea and crept past her parents bedroom and traveled to the door. “Mmm… I guess it won’t hurt if a peek a little,” Savannah peeked through the little gap and saw sunlight. She wondered why there was sunlight as it was pitch black outside, but with no concern whatsoever she stepped through. “Wow… wait where am I?” She was in a field of beautiful flowers, hills the size of mountains and cozy cottages in the distance. During the travel to the cottages Savannah came across mushrooms that looked like that they had tiny little doors inside. She knocked and there was a tiny baby squirrel that answered. It had grey, silver fur and it was holding a acorn, to pointy sharp teeth and had a pastel pink flower on its head. “Hello there, I see that you have found our town.” What.. you can speak?”
“Of course I can! Every animal speaks in this town.”
“Cool!”
“Well I better get back to the kitchen before my cookies burn and goodbye!” “Bye,” and Savannah set back on her journey.
