The phoenix by Isabella Y4 SJC
It was a dark, gloomy murky maze. It had everything that you would never imagine from stinky rats to floors covered in pee and maybe even the random bit of old moldy cheese. Daisy wasn’t very keen on staying in that peculiar spot so she hurried down the darkened passageway hopefully to a more pleasanter part of the mystical maze. Just then Daisy stepped into a
a very bright room.
Up ahead, Daisy saw a diamond. It was sat on a pillar engraved brightly with the words ‘This diamond is the diamond of flying whoever holds it will get to fly’ Daisy eyed the diamond suspiciously then reached out and took it then a big golden phoenix with its wings on fire talons sharp ready to attack screeched at her. Daisy took one look at it and darted away. The snowy owl fluttering behind her. Suddenly, the diamond of flying was activated and Daisy flew up in the air. Daisy was flying so fast she felt like the wind. Soon she saw the exit. Daisy got through and started searching for the mirror to escape the phoenix but she could not find it. A voice yelled
” Over here!” It was Mr thunder! Daisy was so overjoyed she thought she would cry.
