Chapter 3- Through the door!

In the distance, Pete could see a small, but pretty, cottage with holly covered all over it. Then he went into the cottage, and he saw a black, picture. Suddenly, a  silhouette came right up behind him and tapped Pete’s shoulders and shoved him to the floor and sprinted away so Pete didn’t see him. 

When the silhouette had gone, Pete said, “hello, is anyone there?” his voice echoed around the whole cottage. Then Pete ran out of the cottage but the thing that he did not know was that someone was following him out. He went to the other children again and all of them started chasing him…
