Have you recently got a pet mermaid placed in your care that you do not know how to take care of properly? Do not fear! These beautiful -yet strange- creatures need devoted and patient owners to ensure their life will be happy and fulfilling; read this if you want to know how to be a perfect owner! Do each instruction carefully and your mermaid will love you soon!

What you will need:

• A large tank-preferably strong glass which is at least 200cm tall and 200cm wide!
• Cooked fish-must be cooked or else your mermaid will get sick!
• A heat lamp which you can turn on and off
• Fish to put in the cage with the mermaid
• Large shells
• Sand!
• Pillows X4 -to be replaced and washed every day
• Toys that make sounds like a rattle!
• Decorations-Coral, Starfish, Sea Grass!

Method:

First, fill your cage, 200cm by 200cm, to the top and poor in your sand; it should fill the entire bottom of the cage!

Next, place your pillow on top of the sand (if it lifts up then pin it down) and adorn your cage with decorations

Then, put a bucket of cooked fish next to a cage for consumptions every hour! All you have to do if throw one in and they will eat it.

After that, turn on and off the heat lamp to simulate the day and night cycle. Make sure that your mermaid is sleeping during these times.

Penultimately, make sure your mermaid is being playful and happy. If not call your nearest mermaid therapist!

Finally, play with your wonderful pet using the rattle and they may just start splashing around in their tank!

To conclude, mermaids make perfect pets however you have to be prepared for hard work and dedication. Luckily, when you grow old the mermaid may take care of you as they live for hundreds of years. They are faithful to those to treat them nicely!
