As Rose got to where the door was , she could not see it. In desperate search she heard bang in the hut and a crash. He was coming and coming fast. In a tree Rose saw a tree with the engraving of a door and an arrow. It was neatly                  carved and had designs like an old hand sewn carpet. It ran to the cave. Rose hurried to the cliff.

Then at the lake the man was out of the house and he ran in her direction. She ran to the cave and inside there was a bricked up wall. She pulled it down for it was poorly made and there at the other end was a door she opened it and ran through. She was in the hall and Mr Gilmor was there waiting for her.
