Daisy shot up the hill to Mr Thunder. But she didn’t know one of her boot laces got tangled up on a rock and she fell into the clutches of the flappy phoenix. Luckily, the owl that she found (called Hoot) pecked at the lace and Daisy was free! She flew up and Mr Thunder commanded the phoenix to stop.Then he turned to Daisy and announced “Have you found what you were looking for?” Daisy nodded “May I ask what were you looking for?”  “Oh” replied Daisy “I was looking for a pet owl and some sort of magic power to fly.” “Ahh I see,” whispered Mr Thunder. “Oh and by the way the portal home is over there and it is fading so you better get home fast.” “OK goodbye!” exclaimed Daisy and with that she disappeared through the mirror.

Just then, the portal exploded with a flash of light, Daisy and Hoot were back in the real world. As Daisy turned around, the mansion that the mirror was in disappeared with a very faint POP! Daisy turned and ran back home and the diamond of flying dropped out of her pocket and Hoot picked it up and put it in a tree. Then Hoot saw Daisy rush into her room and leaped into bed so she followed and they both snuggled down happily.
