How to slay a Minotaur

Have you ever been commanded to slay a Minotaur? If so, read these helpful instructions in order to succeed. However, there is no guarantee that you will come out alive, but these tips can increase your chances by 50% and help you win the grand prize.
First, find a well-structured ship, preferably one which can cope with storms, a trustworthy crew and a map. On your way to Crete, ensure that you have black sails for your departure and white sails for your maybe successful return.
Next, having docked in Crete, enjoy a luxurious banquet as it may be your last. Make sure you eat all you can so you have enough energy to slay the Minotaur. If in need of help, turn to the dignitaries for guidance.
After that, find a trustworthy companion who will provide you with a magic ball of thread (so you can find your way back from the maze) and a mighty, sharp sword for your looming battle.
Later on, get yourself a splendid bed and have lots of rest – you will need plenty of energy for your up-coming journey through the labyrinth.
A day later, once everyone is fast asleep, grab your sword and thread and enter the maze. Make sure to creep silently and quietly as you do not want to wake anyone or the Minotaur.
Then, trap the thread in the door and make sure it is secure. Find your way around the maze, unwinding the thread as you go. In order to find the Minotaur, you must head away from its deep rumbling snores in order to get closer to it. Tread carefully but do not wake him too soon.
From that point on, once you have found the Minotaur, strike it with your sword! Fighting the Minotaur will not be as hard as you think as he is not used to people fighting back. When you have the chance, stab the gruesome beast through the heart. Follow the thread back to the exit and feel proud of your success. Be sure to bring his head with you for proof.
As you set sail back to Athens, change the black sails and raise the white flag so you can prove that you have defeated the Minotaur. If you forget, your family members may face the consequences by harming themselves.
Having arrived back home, celebrate your success! Have a banquet or a party. You will be crowned king and hero – you will be known throughout all kingdoms.
Minotaurs are feared creatures: half man, half bull. Nobody has ever successfully killed a minotaur- there can be deadly consequences if failed.
If you were to succeed, you would have the pleasure of being a hero and everlasting fame. However, by forgetting to change the sails on your journey home, your life may become full of misery and regret.
We wish you the best of luck – everyone is depending on you!
