He didn’t want to know but he had to ask, “What is this place,” he whimpered cowering into the toilet cubicle. When he looked up his tormented wet eyes showed him what looked like a giant lizard but when his eyes cleared he saw it was something much worse.

“This is a nightmare,” the lizard like thing explained, “contained in you head.” Dan pinched himself again, “But I can feel pain.”

“It’s is a special type of nightmare, one you never wake up from.”

Dan heard his mum calling him, “Danny it’s time to get up.”
