Chapter 3 – Through the curtains.

The birds were still watching over Daniel until he got back to his foster care, he went in and tried to get some sleep but he could only think about the shop and the owner and the Rubie birds. He deiced that first thing tomorrow he would go back to the shop, it was the next day and Daniel went to the shop, the owner said “How did you find your way back you are not meant to remember this place”. Daniel looked at him in shock, the owner said “ Don’t looked so shocked you have a gift and you will work for me and you could get away from the life you have here and away from that pesky boy Batt, what do you say?” Daniel was still confused but anything was better than being stuck with no parents and getting away from that ugly ogre was even better. “ YES, I will work for you” “ Good come same place same time tomorrow and pack up all your stuff” the owner called.
