Bob, BIlly, Petrica
Finally they were ready to leave. That morning, a message had arrived from one of the foxes in the village. They said that hunters were hunting them.
So the three foxes Bob, Billy and Petrica left foxspot. Their journey to safety. It would take at least three weeks but first they would have to swim three hundred metres in a freezing cold river, then they would have to climb over huge mountains, then they would have to find their way out of the forest to reach Foxworld so they can be safe.
Clutching an old map, Bob, Billy and Petrica struggled to swim across the freezing cold river. Soon they were at the mountains climbing their way over the huge mountains so they could go to the dark gloomy forest. Tall trees towered overhead as they followed the old map.
Trailing behind Billy and Petrica held onto the old map. Wearily they tried to follow the footsteps of the elder fox. Bob was extremely cold because he swam in the freezing cold river and even climbed over the mountains. Billy put the map in his bag and a candle to stay warm when it’s cold.
That night they ate fish from a river, Petrica was fast asleep, Bob got branches across the front of the shelter, hoping it would protect them from the praying eyes.
As Billy drifted into sleep his mind swirled with dreams of the metallic clank of the gorm, moving through the shelter in the darkness like a relentless wave of fear.
