Foxes on a journey

Finally, they were ready to leave.

That morning, the message arrived, a sun bird,to say that the Deepers army were only a few miles away from steppingstone tower. No one will be safe. The house has many tunnels built many howls ago. Its walls with many holes and crevices. This house will never survive an attack from the Deepers.

So the three little foxes, Mayra, Ila and baby Rama, left home. Their quest to safety will at least      take a week but first they will have to make there way to Berry boul walk through splaty sparks and journey through Haunted Hallow mountain. The Deepers will not be able to get to splinter valley built by the elders long ago. Once they reach their destination they will be once again be living in peace. Other foxes from the village decided to go somewhere else but Mayras mother had given them an ancient map which showed a hidden map mostly kept away from unwanted eyes. Too old to travel the mother stayed behind hiding away in forest feast.

Gripping tightly on the map, the bold band of foxes struggled over the rope bridge that crossed the river of light.  The band of foxes trudged through calory blaze. Tall trees hovered over the foxes like eyes as they walked through the pathways.

Cautiously, Mayra had taken the lead whistle Ila walked with baby Rama. As the wind howled the trees swayed side to side, the bold band of foxes tugges on their silk jacket. When ever  Mayra thought about home, the Deepers would come in mind – their freshly cut blades pointing at  their hearts, their booming voice telling them what to do.

The two younger foxes tried to follow in her sisters footsteps. Ila ahd tried to make this quest a game for young Ramam but soon she saw her shivering har skin turned as blue as ice. Ila ran ahead and told her sister and Mayra had decided to give her jacket to Rama to keep her toasty. As the sun started to dwindle the foxes put a halt in their journey to get a rest. As the youngest siblings stood under a tattered tree Mayra got to work on building shelter with rope, leaves, branches and grass to make it weather proof. For dinner their mother had packet lousios lasagna, cappy corn bread and lemonade drizzled cake.

As baby Rama fell asleep rapidly, Mayra gazed at the stars hoping nothing will happen on their journey. Mayra thought in her head,” Are we going to make it?”.
