In the morning, Um heard the demons hissing as they enter the forest. this meant they weren’t too far away from him and Mang. He woke up his friend Mang  and they set off to Lava Lake Tavern where they sold different drinks like apple juice – which was Um’s most favourite drink-. When they got there, they saw many peacock humans playing around different games like hide ‘n’ seek. They saw a singing bard called Venti playing different song with his lyre. The people cheered as he played.

They walked inside and saw a small but big enough room for them to rest in. The owner Diluc let them stay there for free. Um left the Tavern to look at the beautiful view of Lava Lakes. As the music played through Um’s head he relaxed as he closed his eyes.

A hiss from the bushes made Um wake up. He looked around but there was nothing to be seen. He saw a shadow lurking around him as if he was its prey. The shadow was as big like a fire whales one. He thought that it might be one but they don’t hiss. He froze as he felt the creatures warm breath on his cold back. He closed his eyes…
