The flash burners

The flash burner

The flash burner is an amazing kind of insect that is believed to have lived on earth before the dinosaurs. It’s incredible venom has made it one of the deadliest insects alive and an amazing species. Who is to know if you can even recognise one and is there anything that you even know about this particular insect?

As far as insects go it has wings, legs and feelers so it is basically your boring old normal insect. But if you look closer   it has a tiny stinger and a tiny sack on its back that contains its venom. Your regular old flash burner has six wings and eight legs, but some have been spotted with sixty wings and 34 legs, some also have rather large stingers. Their appearance is very much like a streamline silver fish with some wings and a stinger. Incredibly, these insects can see behind and ahead of them at the same time but they cannot see to the side.

Their shimmering body is greyish silver just like the moon and each one of its scales are 2cm long. As it flies around you may think that is not doing anything to harm you but really if you look closely it is spraying it’s potent mix of venom in a circle around you, so that you cannot escape when it attacks. Incredibly, the flash burners can warp through steel so that you are never safe from them. Dangerously, more than one minute with a sting from a flash burner in your arm or leg can prove to be fatal! So please be cautious around them, and beware.
