Chapter 1 

The house

One a frosty winter night, Podkin and his brother and sister were all sitting at the fireplace watching a movie while waiting for their mum to get home with the shopping. When the youngest sister asked if mum would ever get home that night. Podkin replied “of course she will, why wouldn’t she…i mean nothing bad can happen right.” 

“Ok Podkin but if she doesn’t, then what happens?” he questioned 

 “Well we might have to go look for her or maybe call her first”

“Ok Podkin”

Chapter 2

Where’s mum

The next morning Podkin and his older sister made breakfast because mum still hasn’t returend. Later in the afternoon Podkin and his siblings went out to check the town to ask if anyone had seen their mum as she hadn’t answered the phone earlier and they were getting a little worried when almost everyone in town had said they hadn’t seen their mother. Walking back home in disappointment, the three young siblings mumbled “when will you be home mum” while frowning.
