The Flygon

 The Flygon

The Flygon is a protective endearing insect and scientist are really confused how they live. These insects live in the desert, mostly they live in Chile. This insect was found over 5000 years ago. A team of historians have found that an ancient town of people once worshipped it. Now I ask, are you grateful that this creature is still alive? Or, are you scared of them?

Flygon 1st Stage

In its first stage, the jaw-stage, its vicious jaws can break titanium. When people visit hot deserts, they watch the ground in fear because this insect, at this stage, will snap its jaws if it feels something. Its giant mouth, when expanded, is almost the same size as its entire body. This creature has been known to bite off more than it can chew!

Flygon 2nd Stage

The jaw-stage later sheds its skin to become what is known as the air-stage. The air-stage has four, powerful wings and helps the Flygon to take flight. People often think this insect is wearing goggles, due to the colourful displays around its eyes. They can help to transport their younger counterparts, the jaw-stage, around to find shelter from the rain. It hunts for leftover food from other larger animals. They also use camouflage to avoid crows (their main predator) so that they don’t get eaten.

Flygon Final/ 3rd Stage

Surprisingly, at this stage, the Flygon hunts for birds at night time – crows now becoming their prey. However, they do not hunt owls. It takes approximately one month to shed its final skin and become the dragon-stage. Once it is out of its former skin, it is roughly the same size as an average human adult. There are alternate colours for each species and some are so rare that the chance of seeing them would be similar to seeing a complete solar eclipse in your life time.
