The Ladybee
The Ladybee is a new species of insect, recently discovered by a group of English scientists studying bees in Dover. They are quite the surprise, and a large topic amongst scientists. The insect is a member of the bumblebee family, shaped like a bee and looks like a ladybug. Scientists have noticed several living with bees, and even entering hives. It has no stinger, so it is harmless to humans and other bees, Bees seem to protect the species, due to not being able to defend themselves. Additionally, this new species is a pollinator, and it can make a unique ‘Ladybird honey’. A handful of people think this creature doesn’t exist, but does.
The Ladybee has started to be spotted in several places in the United Kingdom, as if they had always been there, and had just come out of hiding. It’s wings are as transparent as glass. The wings also contain markings, unique to every Ladybee, for the species to recognise other insects in their hive. The bee possesses four wings. Additionally, they have night vision, due to a special gland in the eye that us humans lack.
As mentioned earlier, the Ladybee is harmless to humans and bees, but can defend from enemies and intruders. They own a powerful bite, which can stun other Insects, such as flies, spiders and roaches. It can also squeeze through 5 centimetre plus holes.
