The Shoe-Stalker

The Shoe-Stalker is an insect that has only been discovered very recently and is so small that you can only see it with a microscope! Many people come across these insects on a day to day basis without realising, and the insects are very strong meaning they are hard to kill. Read on to find out more.

The Shoe-Stalker, which is as small as a piece of fiberglass, spends most of its time inside human shoes, and when those shoes are put on, it begins to crawl up your foot, then up your leg, then up your torso and then the crawl up and down your body making you extremely uncomfortable and itchy. It is called the Shoe-Stalker because most of its time is spent looking for shoes to camp in. The Shoe-Stalker looks like a typical insect, with a scale formed back and antennas as long as a pen lid. Unfortunately, the Shoe-Stalker insect species is on the verge of extinction due to the lack of female insects for them to reproduce.
