chapter 2

Twilight woke abruptly to the sound of someone saying “ Twilight”. It was Sapphire, she was already tapping Twilight for about 5 minutes now, Sapphire was trying to tell Twilight that a mysterious person had come with a message from the beast itself who destroyed their village. It said: “ I destroyed your hometown, now I’m coming for you, don’t expect that you’ll get away from me and my army. Just know that you pesky little brats won’t defeat me, I will be victorious once again!” That was the end of the message.   

“ We need to start moving, now! We don’t have any time to waste, we need to get to the neighbouring village as fast as we can!” exclaimed Midnight.

“ How are we meant to go there, where are we meant to rest!” replied Twilight.

“We will manage it, just trust me.” commented Midnight.

So they continued to walk with anger, they kept walking through the woods which seemed like a maze. After a few hours, it started to get foggy and Sapphire bumped into something cold and tall. It was the range of mountains. It was starting to get dark and they started to get weary, the only place they could take shelter was here. 

It was cold and chilly, but they had their equipment, they knew that they had to set up camp there. Midnight eventually found a button that wrote ‘press me’. So without anyone noticing, she pressed the button and it opened up like castle gates. Sadly, Sapphire and Twilight noticed what Midnight had done, and they got furious.

“ Midnight, what have you done!” asked Sapphire.

“ I just opened it, but it feels warm, let’s go in.” replied Midnight.

“ Fine, only because it’s your idea!” commented Twilight.    The village had the best defences and all they could do was worry if the beast had already destroyed the only-standing village left that they could all go to. If the beast were to go to the village, the three sisters and the powerful people in the villages were ready for anything, they would be unstoppable. It had  poisonous darts which could kill anything that isn’t a rabbit. 

Inside the mysterious mountain, they found candles, wolf skin, a few small piles of snow in each corner of the room, a tree with skulls drooping down terrifyingly and shedded skin that was unknown to them. They’ve never seen anything like it from what they’ve experienced.

Sapphire said scaredly: “What is this place, it looks dead scary!”

No one replied to her, they were too frightened of what they saw. Finally Twilight answered: “I think I’ve read about this place when I was practicing my reading! This is…”  she couldn’t say it. “It’s……. The… enemy’s palace. Throughout this prison, they could see a little lighting, they stood there for at least an hour, they needed some rest so they could continue their journey again. They thought the wolf skin was the best idea to sleep on, it was decided. 

Before they went to sleep, they needed to eat since they were hungry.

“I’ll go get some food,” said Sapphire wearily.

“ Ok.” replied Twilight and Midnight unaware

So Sapphire tried to find food, but instead tripped over a strange book covered in a foreign language. She ignored it and found herself in a room with armour and more deadly skulls, she couldn’t believe it. She might’ve known what had caused these dead skulls. She started running back to her sisters but got lost on the way.  She found herself in another room which looked like the eating room, she found some leftovers but then opened a large, chipped piece of wood and on the other side, she found herself some berries, cooked meat, more meat and what looked like some bark inside, wrapped in a huge leaf.  Before she could run, some thundering footsteps almost came barging in the eating room but before the footsteps could’ve approached her, Sapphire’s sisters grabbed her out of there as fast as they could. All they could see was a shadow that they could just make out, maybe a lizard, maybe a dragon. But Sapphire was positive it was the beast she knew, the icicle shooter dragon, Prussian.

Chapter 3

The Icicle shooter, Prussian, was slowly entering the eating room when he could smell something unusual, something he’d never smelt before, he was confused.The dragon flew around cautiously, just to be sure that the odd smell was still there, he scanned around and suddenly got hungry. He realized that his food had gone as well, he got furious and started screaming: “ Where is my food! , “Who stole my food!” He got no reply. His pointy scales were dangling off a strong, turquoise coloured sheet of steel. It sounded as if triangles were being played one after another. He had a buckle that carried a sharp weapon that might’ve been shaped as a sword that had been frozen, the beast closed its eyes and the sword came out of its buckle. He was furious! 

Stunningly, Midnight came out of their hiding place and Prussian, within a millisecond, turned its body towards her. Twilight and Sapphire were astonished! The furious dragon said: “You!” 

Midnight replied: “Yes it’s me, I will crack your bones and make you die!”

So they started fighting and Midnight suddenly unsheathed a reflective dagger that was as sharp as a saw. They spoke out battle cries and within a few seconds, Midnight was cleaning her dagger on the disappearing dragon. Finally Twilight and Sapphire came out worried about what was happening to the dragon, they both just spoke out: “Wow!”

That was the end of that conversation.  They all left Prussian’s den straight away, before its army came storming in, the army would defeat the brave rabbits. They knew where to go, but they wondered if the village would’ve already been defeated by Prussian’s pets. They stayed on the positive side and started their journey to the Lilac water village. A few hours later they arrived at rushway river, there were a few trees that they could sleep on, and to add on, it was starting to get dark. They rested there, they were too tired, they couldn’t carry on much longer, this was their last destination until Lilac water village.  They rested by a big Birch tree, once again Sapphire went hunting for food, but instead of being alone, Midnight came with her just so that she wouldn’t get caught by something. So off they went hunting for some berries, fish, meat or any other fruit they could find, whereas Twilight was pulling off some leaves from trees for some comfortable ground they could all sleep on. Midnight was confused, it was as if she was born with a dagger, it had appeared from nowhere and now that she had it she felt a bit safer and stronger. Maybe it was especially for her, it appeared in her hand and she felt like a goddess.It could absorb light and nature’s magic which makes it glow, it’s energized and can slice through anything except different types of metals. Its blade is made from all kinds of metal and the handle is carved from sleek wood. 

Whilst Midnight was daydreaming about the dagger, she bumped into something solid and shiny, Midnight and Sapphire both fell down instantly. A deep voice said: “Oy, what yer doin here, yar not meant to be here ya anonymous person!”

Both of them were terrified, Midnight tried not to draw her sword to the mysterious figure until they knew who it was. Something was dinging like the sound of Prussian the dead dragon. Sapphire was sure who it was, it was one of Prussian’s pets. They tried running away but abruptly the figure captured them.  Prussian’s pet tied them up and threw them on his back. Twilight was getting worried, they hadn’t come back in a while, plus she was getting  hungry. She wanted to search but what if she got captured, she was wondering. So she started waiting for a few hours but if they still hadn’t come back she would go search for them. Midnight and Sapphire entered the same place, the mountains, they fell off and got untied. It was the army of Prussian! The doors were guarded heavily with about 20 men. The entire place was guarded, they wouldn’t get out.
