A world without humans
A world without humans.
In the land of Far away,
Humans are banished, from
entering and destroying
another land.
In the land of Far away,
everything is exquisite,
rivers rush and rainbows shimmer,
a splash of colour against the
sapphire-blue sky.
In the land of Far away,
hearts beat in unison,
everyone is equal,
And the world spins in peace.
In the land of Far away,
spiders are never feared,
their scintillating cobwebs
sparkly and new, like delicate
sunbeams.
In the land of Far away,
long grass sways to the rhythm
of the wind, whilst wild lions bowl
each other over and play in peace.
In the land of Far away,
the crystal-clear ocean
ripples with the joy of friendship,
and turtles grow strong from never
eating discarded plastic.
In the land of Far away,
Moon and Sun sit side by side
in the sky, like two eyes peering
down at their wonderful creations
of peace.
In the land of Far away,
white rhinos trudge, happily,
crumpled skin like an old map.
In the land of Far away,
rain tumbles, regularly,
but tempestuous storms
Do not exist.
In the land of Far away,
beautiful eagles swoop,
bronze and tawny feathers
illuminating the lush green
treetops.
In the land of Far away,
cheetahs are lithe and agile,
no longer rare or terrified.
In the land of Far away,
beautiful insects are
no longer treated inferior
to competitive human games.
In the land of Far away,
the stocky polar bears
have plenty of ice and seals,
whilst their dense fur, white
as snow, helps to keep them warm.
In the land of Far away,
gorgeous butterflies glide,
swiftly on the breeze,
the sun rays shimmering on
their vibrant wings, giving them
the effect of a stained-glass window.
In the land of Far away,
it is perfect. It is a world
far out of our reach. It is
a world without humans.
Normally long poems are bad and get boring overtime, but this was super good! I love the imaginative idea that you’ve come up with, it was just really brilliant overall and I really like the use of advanced words, keep the good work up!!
